Wetrepian is the central subcontinent of Mismia. It features many different cultures and is split between humans and beastmen.

The Great Desert

The Great Desert stretches across most of the central region of the Mismia. It is particularly dry in the north and east and almost completely uninhabitable. Only certain animal species, such as snakes and dinosaurs, survive in the hot region. As a sandy desert, it has many magnificent sand dunes and little rainfall. Dangerous sandstorms require constant attention by the inhabitants.

However, there are some rivers in the desert with fertile areas. The Giant River is the longest and widest river in the desert. It's origin are the Southern Mountains and it flows into several tributaries in the north of the subcontinent. The prominent river delta is the home of the Wetrepians. The nomadic tribes also often migrate to its waters. A little further south there is also an elongated lake where many have settled. Cedar trees and olive trees are common tree species along the river. It is the home region of the tamed Terror Birds, which are used as mounts by the humans living here.

The Wetrepian sand dunes

In some places there are oases that appear as a paradise in the desert landscape. Such landscapes can be found particularly in the southwestern region. But a famous oasis settlement has also formed in the middle of the desert to the east of the river delta.

Tristream Lands

The Tristream Lands are located in the valley next to the southern mountain range. Three large rivers fertilize the region and ensure life-sustaining conditions in the merciless desert. The region is characterized by the mixture of several cultures in supranational associations.

The Wetrepian Savannah

Wetrepian Savannah

The savannah is located in the middle of the subcontinent behind the southern mountain range. It is characterized by dry grasslands with few trees, but there is also some subtropical forests in the southeast. It stretches to the southern subcontinent of Talsek across the Ismus of the regions along the coast of the Southern Sea. There is another mountain range in the ismus. Here, many different beastmen cultures reside.
