The archipelago is a large chain of islands in the great global ocean of Kokos with numerous small islands and atolls. However, there are also some larger islands, most of which are important cultural sites. It's located beneath the Equator and the southermost islands reaches towards the south pole Solu.
Climate
In general, the climate of Meda is hot to warm. It can be compared to the climate of the Caribbean, Polynesia and Indonesia, so it is quite tropical. Here it usually rains more and at more extreme levels than in other regions. The outermost islands in the north and south have a temperate climate though, comparable to New Zealand.
Terrain
The archipelago has many typical tropical islands, small patches of sand and palm trees in the ocean. But there are also some larger islands with tropical rainforests and mountains. Many of these were formed by volcanoes and are usually semi-active.
Flora
The uniqueness of the flora is its color. Rural plants on islands are mostly a yellowish green. However, many aquatic plants have orange to red colors, which makes the sea appear very warm. However, this is not always the case, as there are also some greenish aquatic plants. One very important genus of trees evolved in the Mangrovia region. The aquatic trees occur in sea meadows, kelp forests and mangrove forests. A particularly bushy species makes up the Sea of Trees.
Fauna
The archipelago continent of Meda is home to a wide array of aquatic and terrestial animals. Depending on the greater eco-region the area can have astonishingly differing plant- and animal life. Some of the known species include:
